Simon Cohen informed the first supporters forum at the beginning of this season that the board were totally behind Murphy and their goal for this season was to finish mid table and that it would take up to 5 years to get back into the Top 4.

Perhaps Cohen should take a look at Saints!

It’s a done deal, the players and staff have all been told. Due to start after the 6N.

In that case why the hell doesn't the club say so? Would at least show they do think of the supporters some times!

Maybe the club are hoping England will let him go early.

If that is the case, is it having an adverse effect on Murphy and Ford? Could it be an explanation as to our terrible chaotic shambles?

Maybe, doesn't explain the previous twelve months of equally shambolic performances though.

No because nothing has come out yet about the coaching staff being reshaped. Borthwick is rumoured just to be an addition to what is already there. If anything the coaches should be striving to make the point that they should continue to be employed and not replaced after Borthwick has had his feet under the table for a bit.

Surely they can't keep all of these coaches though? I mean - how many coaches (all full-time?) are required? I'm hoping Borthwick comes in as Head Coach and Geordie moves up to DoR.

Not sure if this is already common knowledge but rugbypass, this morning, reporting Borthwick is to come after six nations but could come sooner if a replacement is found.

Is there any way we can persuade them to hire Matt O'Connor? He's obviously very good at job interviews, did us over twice.

Too many cooks spoil the broth!

We need the right coaches, experienced, capable, committed. Not numbers.

Watching recording of Sale v Exeter and it’s just been mentioned that Mathew Proudfoot could be on his way to coach England’s forwards
