Not as one sided as expected. Russian fitness seems the main issue.

Agreed. Russians seem inspired Japan seem nervous. Not the highest quality game you’ll ever see.
Japanese 8 looks useful and right wing just scored a hat trick

Yes the Russian No7 is very highly rated by Squidge Rugby, but he worships Alun Wyn Jones so take that for what you will.

Russia really are only there by default.

After spain, Portugal and Romania fielded ineligible players they were kicked out..... I do wonder if this should happen to sarries if they are found hilltop have played over the odds????

Big difference World Rugby were kicking out Tier 2 minnows, not Premiership Rugby trying to kick out the European Champions Saracens.

Disgusting officiation that lead to Aussie victory, World Rugby would rather maintain the status quo than maintain the laws.

Early signs are that Argentina may have found their scrummaging legs. Certainly holding their own against France

I haven’t seen the first half yet but there was a reference made to an incident with Hodge.

France quite lucky, but refereeing was poor for both sides.
