No problem, knew who you meant. Be fun to see a vampire on the pitch though.

As an epilogue to the ill fated Emirati take over at Beziers ,Neil Fissler in yesterdays 'Rugby Paper' (19/7/20) reported that should the UAE grouping have been given the go-ahead agreement had been reached with the following to take up coaching roles within the new setup :

Rory Teague - Head Coach
Tim Taylor - Assistant Coach
Alex King - Attack coach

On the playing side, agreement had supposedly been reached with:

Lima Sopoaga
Semesa Rokuduguni
Jordan Taufua

Guess its all immaterial now , and of course speculation.Based on the above however , certainly not complaining that this particular take over did not happen.

Honestly, I wouldn't believe a word of it. It all comes from Dominici and the people he represents - the people so wealthy that they could allegedly sign half the worlds best players but couldn't manage to purchase a French D2 club that would have cost less than a second hand Renault Clio.

The whole thing is laughable.

It's sounding like Rokoduguni will re-sign with Bath no the deal has fallen through. A shame as I had faint hopes that Tigers could tempt him. He'd be a really good replacement for Veainu. With Manu leaving he'd offer another powerful ball carrier on the wing as well.

Maybe a lesson in this for those wanting sugardaddy owners and possible gratitude to Tigers Board for insisting on a long term commitment from prospective purchasers of our club, some may not like that we have almost the status quo but the alternative might have been a disaster.
It was irresponsible of the potential Beziers owners to approach other teams players and coaches before actually owning a club that could employ anybody.

Toronto wolfpack not playing the 2020 super rugby season.
SBW free, might be a good one to look at if Moroni isn't available till Decemeber

Now there is a juicy rumour to start.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Would you really want him, got at least as much baggage as our ex centre, with an ego the same size.

Indeed, the Emirati involvement was conceived without sufficient forward planning and fell flat on its face. However, I believe another proposition could be in the offing, that of former President of Stade Toulousain, René Bouscatel, who showed an interest earlier and withdrew, probably thinking he couldn’t compete with the Emirati offer. Watch this space!
