He does. Van Rensburg is excellent for them but does a few games and Jennings is not on the scene anymore. Good signing for both parties. The Sale backline next season should be pretty good, helped by the impressive James brothers who can play across pretty much the entire backline as well.

Continuing to build a good squad at Sale, and crucially they appear to have managed the current situation very well so won;t have the upheaval of many other clubs.

Would be a good bet for Champions this season or next.

Why would Quins be keen on signing Manu?
Joe Marchant is one of the most promising Centres in rugby.
and would they really want to spend 500K in the cap as well on another centre who will be away with England?

Thinking about ti with Esterhuizen and Marchant they would have to be stupid to do so really.

Plus they've already got Campagnaro as another quality centre who is an injury risk.

I was really glad to see Charlie had signed with Nottingham. He always looked good going forward but never quite developed the passing or kicking game needed from modern centres. He has time to develop that side of his game though.

There's a lot of Tigers academy grads at Notts. Sio, Hills, Farnworth, Owens and Williams. Boladau is a Notts player too of course and Coghlan signed from them. Hopefully Chessum can keep getting game time there too. They are having to run in a different manner next season but hopefully players will still be able to use it as springboard to step back up to Premiership rugby.

I still wouldn't mind Jack Spittle or David Williams getting a chance with Tigers. Given we are short in the back three and seemingly tight for cap space they could be cost effective signings.

Charlie Thacker looked very promising but unfortunately seemed to have a lot of injury problems when with us, if he is over them he will be a useful player for Notts and maybe a handy one for us to borrow if needed.
