For a 28 year old squad player I doubt it. They would be better off investing in Lewis and Hill to keep them at the clubbrooksey845 wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 9:38 am Do we not think Worcester are going to be offering a shed load more cash for Kvesic than what Exeter would offer him? So a no brainer of a signing for Wuss?

Bit harsh on Kvesic, really improved his form at Exeter Chiefs and has become more than just a breakdown operator, he was unfortunate with the return of Simmonds to lose his place, I think Exeter would have kept him as a squad player but Worcester have offered him a lot more money and probably regular game-time too with a back row of himself at 8, Lewis at 7 and Hill at 6 with Cornell du Preez on the bench.

Worcester are reported to be well under the salary cap so space for them to keep all happy.Mark62 wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 10:06 amFor a 28 year old squad player I doubt it. I get what people are saying about Kvesic and he was unlucky not to get many more England caps, much better 7 than Robshaw imo.JP14 wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 10:19 am Bit harsh on Kvesic, really improved his form at Exeter Chiefs and has become more than just a breakdown operator, he was unfortunate with the return of Simmonds to lose his place, I think Exeter would have kept him as a squad player but Worcester have offered him a lot more money and probably regular game-time too with a back row of himself at 8, Lewis at 7 and Hill at 6 with Cornell du Preez on the bench.
I find it strange that posters are commenting that it’s a great move for Worcester but had Tigers signed him, by chucking money at him this forum would be in uproar.
Cornell du Perez is a much better 8 than Kvesic will ever be jp, but you need quality players to rotate
Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20
True you could play a backrow of Hill, Kvesic and du Preez, whatever the case Worcester do have backrow options next year it’s whether they can successfully replace Mills and Joe Taufete’e.

Malcom Marx
Ruan Vermaak
Tyrone Green
Shaun Reynolds
All have their contracts terminated by lions due to Covid-19
Suspect a few other clubs will have to do this.
Green would be a good one to sign.

Happy with our new Georgian hooker, but shame Marx didn’t become available earlier. 2nd choice Boks hooker now but still an absolute beastRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 10:09 am Malcom Marx

We already have our eyes on a international hooker but have to most likely wait a season

Marx has signed with the Kubota Spears. Would have loved him at WR but suspect he'd have demanded huge ££

Marx great player but rather we had a steady 2 over anything else currently.
There is a reason he lost the SA starting shirt and it wasn’t his lack of skill

He certainly covers a lot of positions according to Wiki. His YouTube clips look very good as well. I can't imagine he'll be out of contract for long. I agree he looks like one that would fit the bill for us.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 10:09 am Malcom Marx

Vermark would be a handy option if we haven't already signed a lock for next season.
Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20
Ruan Vermaak could be a very good signing. In the Pieter-Steph du Toit and Jacques du Plessis mould of massive blindside or mobile lock. Having just turned 22 he's got a lot of rugby ahead of him as well.
