Corry was a fine player, but surely Deano should be at 8.

I don’t believe Ellis or Howard played in a World Cup.

Ellis missed out due to injury IIRC in 2007. Instead we had the dream team of Shaun Perry and Peter Richards alongside Andy Gomarsall.

Back in the smaller squads of the 90s, Pat Howard wasn’t selected in 1995.

Did Rowntree? I know he didn't make 2003, I would also put Julian White in there

Rowntree played in the 1999 World Cup. I had White on the bench with Castro starting. Meant leaving Cole out...

As long as Toomua isn't even allowed in the ground I don't mind.

Toomua wasn’t a regular in the last World Cup anyway so unless he pulls it out the hat this autumn he wouldn’t be on my list either.
