James Haskell
God created rugby so footballers have heros too
Re: Jasme Haskell
He didn't see a padded rugby post in his prime so I've no idea how he is going to see those kicks and punches coming, but good luck to him!

Re: Jasme Haskell
Good luck to him, always had a lot of time for his attitude on the pitch if not off it. I do suspect he's about to find out that all the gym time and nutritional supplements in the world won't save him in the heavyweight division, those boys don't mess about.
Re: Jasme Haskell
Do we think that he'll really do it or is it media exposure to get on strictly!

Re: Jasme Haskell
I think it'll be media exposure, expect to see a documentary about his preparation either shortly after or in the run up to his debut fight. His debut fight will probably be his last fight also.

I seem to remember Freddie Flintoff did the same with boxing. He had one professional bout which was described as a 'circus' and a 'disgrace'. I suspect this will go the same way so let's hope he doesn't get hurt!
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

I think you will find Freddie did it for charity and it was never going to be a career beyond the one fightstrawclearer wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 2:06 pm I seem to remember Freddie Flintoff did the same with boxing. but one wonders whether this is 'self promotion' and JH is anticipating just the one bout too?Chobbsy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 2:08 pmI think you will find Freddie did it for charity and it was never going to be a career beyond the one fightstrawclearer wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 2:06 pm I seem to remember Freddie Flintoff did the same with boxing. He could always squirt his opponent with a water bottle
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
Re: James Haskell
If the answer is "James Haskell " then you are asking the wrong question!
This is just for publicity and he is hoping that his in-laws open a few more doors for him in the tv world.
So glad he was never a Tiger.
