The offy twitter did say that's it "for now" but that could easily mean coaching team.FrontRowUnionMember wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 3:49 pm Still think we’re missing some extra horsepower out wide, a winger capable of really holding defenders on presence alone. A big Fijian or Samoan. Not sure we’ll get anyone else.

It's a post of the Tigers badge and a message saying he's delighted to have signed for us for next season (to paraphrase)

We seem to be taking a punt on quite a few younger guys.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD
May seem a silly question but we have lost one of our 2 marquee players and don't seem to have signed anyone who would be a marquee player so who is our 2nd one or is that signing still to be announced?
Hehehehehehehehe

I imagine Ford or Cole will have been moved into the marquee spot to free up cap to spend on new players.

Think its Taufau but could also be Lavanini.

I agree on this. There are a fair few renewals next year especially our England boys. I think May, Ford and Genge are due from memory of what i read.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2019 7:14 amI imagine Ford or Cole will have been moved into the marquee spot to free up cap to spend on new players.

I think next seasons Marquee will be Ford and Lavanini
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD
The good news is that our sadly departed antipodean 'Marquee Player' was but in name only one and actual salary costs. Heaven knows how much he cost us per game. We could have had five Matt Smiths for him and we would have been stronger as a squad. So - if the money is being saved and it goes to Genge, May or the young man who almost single handedly saw that we avoided relegation - Master Ford - at least it will be going to someone who is committed to the club and who performs week in week out.
I know. I know. I should let it go. Don't tell me. I know I should. It's just frustrating when you've supported Tigers for 50 years and were never good enough to wear the shirt as a player, to see players who do get to wear it, not really appreciate what it is they are wearing.

Posters maybe aren’t aware of how good Mcphillips is. He was standout in the u20 World Cup 3 years ago, I think he was up for player of the tournament, and then hasn’t had the chance to push on, with him being behind firstly Pienaar and Jackson, and then Burns at Ulster.
Hardwick for me is now a 12 and may even do a Slade and eventually move out to 13, Reid is primarily a 12.
All imo of course but would love to see Mcphillips given a run of games
