According to this interview, David Denton isn’t in the best of places physically, I’m sad to say...

“It’s the not knowing that’s the hardest part. Not knowing when — or if — he’ll play again. Not knowing what damage he’s already done to his brain.”
Pre-season will be the test for him. Wish him and his family the best of health going forward.

Agree!
I can't read most of the article behind it's paywall, but he must be so frustrated, and probably a little scared.
Good luck to him, and hopefully, he'll get a resolution to the problem soon.

As a Tigers fan I hope he recovers and is back to his galloping best soon. As a father though I'd tell him to look for something else, be there for his family first and don't risk the damage another severe concussion could do.TomWeston wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:17 am According to this interview, David Denton isn’t in the best of places physically, I’m sad to say...

On a side note could to see his little lad dressed correctly.

Very worrying for him. Every time he's tried to run, he gets a headache. All the best to the big man.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

I too would like to send him my best wishes for a full recovery. He may just decide to play it safe and retire anyway for the sake of his family. Whatever happens, I wish him and his family well. I will be horrible if we do lose him, for he is a truly great player.

Top 6 with this amateur coaching team, top 4 with a top quality coaching team.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 1:58 pmNo excuses, just being realistic. If we make Top 6 it will have been a decent season I reckon.

Gustard won’t win anything, neither will Ackerman...serial runner-up. Boyd though....sapajo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:15 pmTop 6 with this amateur coaching team, top 4 with a top quality coaching team.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 1:58 pmNo excuses, just being realistic. Sorry to disgree but I see Quins winning the league under Gustard, not next season but definitely the season after.

I'd love to know what you're basing this on. Ackermann and Gustard both have better rugby CVs than Baxter and McCall when they first arrived in the Prem and have made more progress in less time.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 6:26 pmGustard won’t win anything, neither will Ackerman...serial runner-up. Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD
I’m basing it on what Ackerman did with the Lions. Yes, he got them to finals but couldn’t win it. Gustard has improved Quins, but I don’t think he’ll get them into a position where they win anything. Progress is one thing, but actually winning something is different.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:02 pmI'd love to know what you're basing this on. There is no chance of Quins winning the league in the next 3 seasons in my opinion
