I thought that TV's team mates Kapeli (Bay of Plenty) and Lolohea (unattached) looked good. Kapeli looked big enough to play lock and backrow and the Bay of Plenty aren't likely to stand in the way of him leaving to a Prem club.

Similarly the Russian 7 looked good. Wouldn't be too difficult to get him out of his contract.

I suppose with the growth of the game there's less and less unattached players going to the RWC.

Kapeli very good player. Was played openside but definitely blindside flanker. Massive physicality and from what I saw could jump in the lineout also.

Didn't we have a Georgian on trial a year or 2 ago but let him go because of language issues, I think Tigers tend to steer clear of certain players because of this issue

I suppose you have to line them up as acquisitions in advance so they have the opportunity to take English lessons before they arrive for pre season.
