It would seem to some that the Club cannot do anything right....mistakes have been made and lacking the depth in certain areas. There has been a clear out of players and new players coming in....surely they must be given a chance instead of being beaten down before they have even started with the club.
Changes are being made and need to be given the opportunity. No issues with negative posting but a balance if some positivity / optimism must be somewhere.

Not aware that anyone has beaten down any new players before they have started with the club and certainly not by me.

A balance must also be found between spin and reality to.

If you find my postings negative then please do not read them its really that simple. I shall carry on posting what I deem fit and if that does not suit your agenda, your vain attempts to physco analyse and pidgeon hole them, so be it.
You may misunderstand me, I am not suggesting that you are negative but more suggesting that the goings on of the past few seasons are.
I'll look forward to the new season anyway.
It's only a game and as hard as it might look it might only take one monster hit from someone like Lavavini to change the entire outlook.

Indeed, like your good self I am very much looking forward to next season and our great club returning to winning ways.

There will be no quick fix for Tigers. Sarries and Exeter took a few seasons before getting dominant sides. What Geordan needs to do is get a settled, fit, united squad together for the next 2-3 seasons. Tigers whole club, including some fans, have to value all competitions: The Premiership Cup has to be targeted because winning is essential to get belief and confidence in the team before the Premiership starts. Sarries had a huge clearout in 2008 with a plan to get all of their teams playing in a similar way. It took a while but look at them now! They even admitted, in 2007/that the team they wanted to model themselves on was Tigers but to make sure they won more finals!
Geordan can be the one to oversee the necessary changes but, he has to back the players in public not tell the media what mistakes they make and he must make sure everyone buys into his Vision from the academy through to the first team. I hope when he said,” I don’t want other teams to know what style of play is Tigers,” that he meant, like Sarries, that Tigers will be able to play “ boring,forward orientated play or fast, creative back play that frightens the hell out of any opposition. Time will tell.

I agree with Ian, we have to focus on the Premiership Rugby Cup, we won’t be able to name a completely strong side but at least we can give the likes of Reid especially a chance to show his mettle. Saracens got to the final by having a young development team that had trained together and knew each other well therefore were making less mistakes. Having the PRC at the beginning of the campaign will help us focus and train on it more.

Maybe because;

a) he didn't want to be
b) his last job at Quins did not go well
c) his specialisation is at the scrum and we already have one and we want a forwards coach that is more equipped to fix our lineout or generally add skills we don't have in the current setup
Guessing he was never approached, I believe he would have loved to be back at the club again.

That may well be the case but see also points B and C.

Guessing he could have been approached however the elongated process of recruitment with no one wanting to make a decision drove him to accept an offer else where.
