Will update as soon as I see seedings but I assume we will be in a very tough group finishing 11th.

We’re likely to be Tier 3 although Tier 2 is a slight possibility.

Pools are decided by one team of each tier in 5 pools.

Because of the format, the remainder of the two Tier 2 spots need to be allocated by draw therefore not all the Tier 2 spots have been confirmed.

Why 2 then mate, won't we be 4th or 5th if we finished 11th

Edit: getting mixed up between my ranks and tiers. We will be ranked 4th,LI 5th so most likely we will be both be in Tier 3.

As in "how are the mighty fallen?", or the perceived 'lower class' of some compared to Tigers' former standing (I've not phrased that well). Well, it'll make a change from seemingly playing Ulster, Munster, Leinster, Racing & Ospreys every season - & losing.

Mind you, there are some there who'll give us a run for our money & if we approach the competition with an arrogant air that it's below us, I suggest well be heading for an almighty fall ourselves.

How far we have fallen mate,I don't like to look down on other teams. We need to sort it out and get a little bit of luck in the draw or theres a good chance we could be going out of the group stages here! Murphy has somehow improved on MoC failures it's possible we could go go backwards further still.

Yes the teams are tough but in my view the worse possible pool for us would be something like Agen, Castres, Edinburgh because I’m sure each pool is made up from one team from either tiers.

I'm sure we will definitely get one of the bottom placed Top14/D2 winners, bottom placed PRO14 or one of the Russian/Romanian teams in our group.

I don’t understand why really there are 3 or 4 previous European cup winners along with finalists and semi finalists and previous winners of the challenge trophy.

Too me it shows sport goes in circles and it comes round to everyone. We will get there again

You have
Wasps: 2 European titles,
Stade Francias: 2 European Titles
Toulon: 3 European titles,
Castres: Last years top 14 champions
Edinburgh: Quarter finalists of this years champions cup.
Scarlets: Last years Champions cup semi finalists and Pro 14 finalist last season. (Won the pro 14 2 seasons ago)

Not the only too have fallen.
Also a bit entitled IMO to consider some of those teams as historically beneath us.

Some good games to be had there! I'm hoping we get Enisei so I can go on an away day to the Russian Steppes.

But how do you get there? if its where Saints played there last year, their supporters went on the team's charter plane! Bet Ryan air/Easy jet don't go there, perhaps Wizz do?
