Re: New Kit
Interesting on the microsite it makes it clear that all of us wanting a 80's/90's style home kit (basically the academy kit) are going to be out of look for the foreseeable future, the DPP will wear the original tigers black, then the academy will wear 80's/90's styled kit and then the first team will wear a "modern" take on a tigers kit

Re: New Kit
I like the ideas behind that. Got to earn the first team kit. It also teaches the academy players something about the history of the club. Be interesting to see if those shirts make it into the shop. Retro shirts tend to sell well.WirralExile wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 12:57 pm Not sure if you've seen the Microsite for the new kit yet, but interesting statement about the colours worn by the various levels of player:
"Our future players from our ‘Developing Player Programme’ will start their journey in the same black colours the club started its journey in back in 1880. As they rise through the ranks to the Academy, you will see them in our heritage colours from the 1970s and 80s before they finally develop into first-team players and earn their stripes… their new stripes."
I wonder if they will sell versions of all three kits in the shop?

Re: New Kit
Important question, will there be a classic version of the new kit? If so lets see it.

Re: New Kit
Anyone else seen on Twitter about a new logo emphasising the T shape in the badge shield , if that makes sense.
Looks similar to what Nike did with TW with Tiger Woods

Re: New Kit
To be used on some of the training and leisure wear. It was emphasised as not a logo replacement. Reminds me of the Juventus logo change in style. That happened a few years ago and caused a lot of anger but this isn't the same scenario.
Shows someone is putting some imagination in the leisure wear this time round, should offer something different.

I like it, and look forward to seeing the away kit here in France next season!

I'm sure the away strip will be lovely viewed on a black and white TV.
Re: New Kit
As I said yesterday, having viewed the kits on the app, I didn’t think either shirts were for me- probably all the shaking distorted the images!
Now I’ve viewed them on the Tigers website, I think both shirts look modern and, depending on price, quality of the “classic” versions, might be tempted.
