SH journeymen.....but you’ve never heard of them?
Yes that's the point
Ah, I see, you used the word ‘journeymen’ because it’s a buzz word at the moment not because you understand what it means. Fair enough.
Yeah if you like. If your'e happy with them fine, we'll catch up next season and see how the Tigers Barbarian team are getting on.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Lionel Mapoe and Elton Jantjies being rumoured on Twitter - but RIL is the (unreliable) source I think!

Cole
Spencer
Lavinini
Taufua
Thompson
Leibenberg

Is a monster pack! If the coachings right it should be able to compete with anyone!

Jantjes?? Wow! Forget the guy you occasionally see mucking up in an international shirt, this guy is different gravy in a club shirt. Can't see it myself but can hope!
As for Mapoe yes please! Pipe dream though imo.

G.K wrote: Sun May 19, 2019 8:37 pm So what I see here is just more and more SH journeymen signings. I haven't got a clue who most of them are. Think it's probably time to call it a day with Tigers, I've no idea what they represent anymore.
SH journeymen.....but you’ve never heard of them?
Yes that's the point
So the signings of Mulipola, Veainu, Stankovic etc that hardly any of us have heard of you'd rather we hadn't signed as they were unknown SH journeymen? They didn't turn out so bad for us.

I'll be frank - I don't give a stuff where they come from or how many clubs they have had - so long as they improve us as a unit. The only way we'll be able to tell that.is to give them time to bed in over the summer and see how we go at the start of next season.

From what I can see, physicality appears to be a must and that's born out by several of the signings so far.

I don't believe it's been mentioned on here yet, but there was a tweet doing the rounds linking us to Elton Jantjies and also to centre Lionel Mapoe. However, the tweet has since been deleted.

EDIT - just seen that Strawclearer has posted the same. RIL was indeed the source

Not sure I can see Elton Jantjies joining, would cost a lot as a 2nd choice. Mapoe however could be a good cost effective pickup

RIL is full of it! It will be Liebenberg and Viljoen

Maybe Jantjies will be signing to play at 12 (where I think he also plays sometimes) and will slot into 10 when Ford is away with England.

Interesting theory! I can only remember him doing it a couple of times recently and he actually looked quite good there. Had two different FH inside him too and guided them well. Mapoe plays 12 and 13 as well as wing too. Those two would be a dream ,very very unlikely though sadly
