And breathe.......

Post by Northenlad » Sat May 04, 2019 5:08 pm

Phew! Never thought I would ever celebrate a Gloucester win!
If winning isn't everything, why do they bother keeping score?

Time to move on and quickly.

Feel sorry for Newcastle.
Overall we were the worse team and vast changes have to be made.

And if we pull out all the stops and take really the game to Bath we could finish the season in...10th. Does anybody know if the pools for the Challenge Cup are seeded or is it just one big pot?

I too feel bad for Newcastle, would rather Worcester got the noose. But surely this means we can play with virtually no pressure for the next round... and if Blommitijies returns I'm confident of a win.

Sorry I have to disagree, the league doesn't lie. Newcastle are the worst team.

Breathing.. Breathing...

Barff define their season on how well they beat Tigers.....
I know its a gimme game but please can we have a team of young talent and leave the leavers out of the starting line up.

We should do an Exeter and Sarries at the weekend - blood the youngsters in battle. How the season has gone for us they couldn't do any damage but could profit..

I feel for DEANO and Tigers old boys. They fought hard to the end and should be applauded for their never say die efforts.
It could easily have been us. There for the grace............

I can't celebrate Gloucester winning and I also feel sorry for Newcastle, would rather have seen Worcester go down. I dont feel they really add anything to the league, and geographically it's much better having Newcastle in the league. I'm sure they'll be back up soon enough though.

Now lets end the season in style and stuff Bath!!

Thank heaven for that result. The nightmare is over, and we remain in the Premiership, to fight another day. It's been a long season, with nothing but bumps all the way, and a massive lesson to have learnt. Let's hope the BOD have taken everything on board, and clear out the dead wood and the dross. I don't think any of us could bear another season like this.

Now that the pressure is finally off, here's hoping we can put in a good performance against Bath, without picking any of the players who are leaving.

Next season I hope we have the right personnel, both player and coach wise, to enjoy, without any of this season's prolonged agony, trials and tribulations.

BOD be warned, we supporters are watching you! :smt018 :smt018 :smt045

The Wasps question BFG? But TBF Bath scored two tries, one a double movement, one a knock on which should've been chalked off which would've seen us win that game and we had two chalked off v Sarries too and i believe these things even themselves out over a season. However awful we've been all season we beat Newcastle and that was the shootout
