Re: Quins vs Tigers

Think the Clifford call was right. Barnes botched the delivery of the verdict. He claimed he charged the ball not the man, but then told Clifford the opposite. No wonder Quins looked puzzled.
I think had Clifford kept his arms up for the charge down, fair enough he’d probably have got away with it, in the air and committed, but as soon as he dropped his arms, he was always going to get carded.

I think we’re working hard, but just lack any kind of urgency. Everything is so slow and deliberate. There’s no intensity. Quins by comparison are snapping up in the lineout making life difficult (we have managed that well), and are so much more aggressive in both defence and attack. That’s what’s missing for us, no energy or spark.

Is it simply a team low on confidence, or we just generally lacking any ideas?

At least we’re in front at half time. Not sure we’re in any danger of 4 try bonus point, but if we can kick our way to a win, then maybe next week with the pressure off we’ll see how we play. If it’s flowing, instinctive, then we really have been playing within ourselves through fear, but if it’s more of the same dull stuff then it’s maybe down to the coaching.

Although I'm nervous, I'm enjoying it.

TV has to have a mandatory ten minute off in the case of an HIA or is it permanent replacement.

Did you see Sale vs Bath last week - now that was miserable. This is like Baa Baas vs NZ in the 70’s by comparison

Is it not 20 minutes? I may be wrong.

Ah, it obviously can't be as he's started the second half!

When you are struggling to hang on to basic passes at the best of recent times why on Earth do you try the fancy dan offloads???

We had great momentum then and Sam chucked it away.

I wouldn't mind less box kicking long to Mike Brown, the most reliable high ball operator in the prem.
