The English Premiership sold a stake to CVC recently. Seems they were involved in the deal to take Dibdibs private in 2003, extract short term profit, sell it on and leaving it a potential wreck (as if there isn’t a big enough challenge competing with online vendors). Hope they don’t sell off rugby grounds then the clubs have to lease them back.

The grounds are owed by private entities. Not CVC...

CVC don't have a controlling share so just have a seat at the table when it comes to decision making. Hence, the potential threat is small.
