Taking only 2 scrum half’s is very dangerous, only 1 injury away from disaster.
The beauty of England’s squad is that they have a number of players, Nowell, Slade, Daley, even potentially Lesowski, who are comfortable in 3 or 4 positions across the back line so 3 scrum halves can be accommodated

Dangerous perhaps but with airline links to Japan, and players on standby, you could have someone in country within 24 hours. Unless you lose someone in the warm up, it’s possibly a game worth taking at hooker and 9 just to allow versatility elsewhere.Mark62 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:15 pm Taking only 2 scrum half’s is very dangerous, only 1 injury away from disaster.

For me there are 4 expert positions on any team, loosehead, tighthead, hooker and scrum half.
Imho you need to take enough cover for those positions as squad size will allow
