He's been touted on here as good potential addition to Tigers' coaching staff, it's interesting to see that his planned move to RL is off, I wonder if there has been any contact:

1-2 seasons ago there was a group of highly regarded, successful, young(ish) coaches available - Johan Ackermann; Paul Gustard; Johaan van Graan - and Tigers overlooked them all in favour of Matt O'Connor. We all know how that worked out. The clubs they joined have all improved markedly.
Edwards is a little more long in the tooth than them, but has proved himself to be one of the best over many years. His record speaks for itself.

Word in France is that he’s about to commit himself as defence coach for the French XV for four years until after the World Cup 2023 (in France).
