Newcastle or Worcester

Post by Stephen18 »

After last night it looks like relegation will likely between Newcastle and Worcester, I personally think it will be Worcester who end up going down as I not sure they’ll pick up any more points as where I think Newcastle may pick at least a few losing bonus points.
And what players do people think it would be worth us trying to sign depending on who goes down.
if it’s Worcester I think Ryan Mills is a must also possibly Howe and Hill.
If Newcastle obviously Mark Wilson, Johny Williams (who I thought we should have signed this season), I’d be tempted to have Goneva 1 last season as well, to give him the send off he deserves.

Don't count our chickens still 15 points on offer and we are not safe yet?

I agree. Not sure that these bone picking threads sit right with me, make sure of our own destiny first.

Besides, there're 8 teams above us (for now.....) who, if interested, may seem a far more attractive option right now....sadly.

I won't be comfortable until we are mathematically safe.

Don’t get how all the media are saying that the result has sealed Newcastle going down. If anything I would be more worried being Worcester, they have a tough run in and can’t see them picking up any more points.

Newcastle could well get BP win over Bristol and stay up safe. Definitely go down to the last game of the season.

We need to smash Bristol and then we should be safe.

If Leicester defend as poorly against Bristol as they did at times last night against the Falcons then Bristol will beat Leicester and the score could even get messy on an Exeter level!

I struggle to see Falcons getting any TBP. They only have one all season.

Worcester 17-0 up which is no surprise as Sale cannot win away.
Sarries have rested many first teasers so can see Bristol winning too.

Newcastle will probably beat Saints unless Saints see Newcastle as being full of ex Tigers!!

Or us.
We are not safe yet.
Worcester winning has probably meant that it’s between us and Newcastle.
