Re: Tigers v Newcastle - 12th April 2019
what was that? Fitzgerald has his head stuck in the scrum leaving the whole blindside open.... Olowofela might as well not be there....
Re: Tigers v Newcastle - 12th April 2019
Like someone said previously, we need to keep doing what we were in the first 30 and not implode.

The lack of pace in the back row was pointed out by many, causing major problems in defence. I'd bring O'Connor on now.

Two poor moments in defence, again! Weakness exposed. Deano has done homework and they isolated two weak links. George is great going forward but no great shakes defensively. As for Owhataweaktackler, pathetic.Greenwhiteandred wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 8:31 pm Please don’t implode Tigers!!!!! Had the game under control , error free and now we are making errors and bringing pressure on ourselves.

Williams has had his best half in a long while, but we should have had more points on the board. Spencer drop in the lineout....scrum...Goneva...try. Need to not panic and keep doing what we did in the first 25 mins.
Re: Tigers v Newcastle - 12th April 2019
Oluwofela really is completely out of his depth. I'm not sold on the fact he will grown into it either.
The half time couldn't come soon enough - the subs will be critical - we are already blowing in areas due to the speed of the game.
They need to keep the basics right, watch the width and hopefully, just hopefully they make it.

Blindside again! Olowofela needs replacing with someone able to tackle or we are going to get ripped apart down that wing in the second half.
Great first 30 mins by Tigers though.

Concern is ... in a tight game .... we have forgotten how to win and Falcons have won 4 of the last 5. We need to get a good lead.
Re: Tigers v Newcastle - 12th April 2019
We struggle to turn possession into points - play well and have the bulk of possession for 30 mins but Newcastle are within 1 point.
Penalties, drop goals, tries - keep the scoreboard ticking!
