ERC Quarter Finals

Post by ourla »

Might be worth Tigers fans having the weekend off and enjoying the ERC Quarters:

Saturday:
Edinburgh v Munster (12:45)
Saracens v Glasgow Warriors (15:15)
Leinster V Ulster (17:45)

Sunday:
Racing 92 v Toulouse (15:15)

The Edinburgh game should be interesting and I'm sure many of us will be hoping Cockers is successful.

Sarries should prevail but Glasgow should give them a run for their money. Ditto at the Aviva where there should be good atmo apart from anything else.

Can't see Racing losing.

I'm not sure Toulouse can be considered as a dark horse seeing as they are top of the Top 14, and have significant European pedigree! They've had a couple of rough seasons, but that seems to be more of a blip!

Toulouse won the Top14 match at Racing a month or two ago so don't write them off yet! They should be more or less at full strength except at hooker where they've lost Julian Marchand and Ghiraldhini for the rest of the season with serious knee injuries.

I should have been clearer - I meant that it shouldn't be a surprise if Toulouse win. Hence, they aren't a dark horse in my opinion!

Would like to see Toulouse win... because rightly/wrongly I see Racing as a trying to buy success whereas Toulouse is more organic

I want Sarries to win because I've been impressed with their club ethos in recent years and of course they are the only English/Prem team left. Also I'm not big on Glasgow, especially for the painful defeats they inflicted on us!

I want Edinburgh to win because of Cockers.

Not too fussed regarding Leinster and Ulster.

Wins for Munster (hope I'm wrong), Racing 92, Saracens, and Leinster.

I understood what you meant! However, playing Racing away will be tough and the Toulouse win against them in the Top14 won't count for much come Sunday and Racing will probably be slight favourites.

Munster, Saracens, Leinster and Racing 92 in the semis if the bookies are anything to go by.

Semis to be:
