Re: A team up.
I am sure our number 16 will be delighted to be on the bench at this level.

Great performance, Tuilagi seems to be getting better, Mapapalangi looks good too just worried that his peak level.

Re: A team up.
The lad Spencer at 15 has some wheels. If he shows up well again this weekend I wonder if he'll earn a longer trial.
Tuilagi looks like he's lost some timber, looked more mobile and athletic. He might yet make it at Tigers.

Re: A team up.
I have always thought that Manu is better with less bulk on him, Fred may well be the same, they are not so naturally big as Freddie, Henry & Alex.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:32 pm The lad Spencer at 15 has some wheels. To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: A team up.
Mapalangi at 8 for today’s game with Tuilagi at 6, possibly a marker for 8 v Exeter
Despite reservations pleased to read the people feel Tuilagi is making good progress

Re: A team up.
Interesting to see how #12 gets on. Impressed from the bench against Newcastle in the match at new year and now a third game in our A side.

Re: A team up.
After 25 mins the score is Wasps 36 - 0 Tigers. Beyond embarrassing.

Re: A team up.
I thought the Wasps team looked stronger. Not that much stronger though. A lot of the highlights from last weekend seemed to feature Simmons and Hardwick combining. No Simmons this weekend so maybe we are missing his direction from 9. Even so 48-0 at halftime sounds more like we can't tackle.
He seemed to carry a lot of that weight on the body and not the legs and arms like his uncles. Being big doesn't automatically make you powerful either you need to be able to get up to speed to smash that weight through the contact. His uncles could all shift and step which makes them just horrendous to try and tackle. If his weight loss ups his pace and makes him a bit more nimble then it could make a big difference.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 7:25 amI have always thought that Manu is better with less bulk on him, Fred may well be the same, they are not so naturally big as Freddie, Henry & Alex.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:32 pm The lad Spencer at 15 has some wheels. Re: A team up.
Feao seems to be playing well by the sounds of things, Wasps have named Matthews, Reider and Harris in their pack (who have all played Champions Cup rugby this season) plus our backline bar Hardwick is completely a scratch one.

Re: A team up.
Eight senior players in the Wasps team.
Re: A team up.
This sums up all that is wrong with us at the moment! Completely embarrassing.
This happened last season too and underlines just how far our great team has fallen. Geordan said confidence was low and now this result has probably destroyed the any confidence Hardwick and other had.
We are doing our bit home and away as supporters but this just shows the lack of thought behind sending out teams to fail: we are still paying the penalty of not using The Premiership Cup in the first round of matches to get systems and confidence in place.
Come on Tigers: EVERY DAM GAME COUNTS.
