And I was always led to believe that size doesn't matter :smt003

At least we're making a good argument against ring fencing, imagine how boring these last 5 games would be with nothing to play for.

Their run in is horrendous with last game of the season at home to Saracens.

Also last game for Newcastle is Bristol at home which could be huge
By then Sarries probably fielding a 2nds team as they won’t be able to catch Exeter and the chasing pack will be more than 5 points adrift of them.

Not sure the regulations would allow that particularly if there was relegation hinging on the result. They could have a lot of short term injuries though

Lets face it - our control of our premiership existence is pretty much down to the night of the 12th of April 2019.

In all honesty, I can't see a game that we will win - if we play like we did on Saturday. We are easily the least self-confident, most poorly coached group of players in the bottom 4. The return of YBY might help us, but with the impending rest weeks for our England players coming up, things don't look rosy! How many players have opt out clauses if we go down? At least we won't have the Salary Cap in the Championship.

At first I thought it was a crazy suggestion, but then it is March.

I’m going to throw it out there that the return of the England players was a part of the issue on Friday.
They would almost have had to have been reintegrated into the squad, as they will have been training and playing under different systems.
Yes we were awful for that middle 40 but surely can’t be that bad again

And that is if we are lucky, I fear even this is over optimistic.

You need a magician to pull rabbits out of hats, and sadly GM is no Paul Daniels. You're going to like it, not a lot! :smt048

If we lose even the next two games, I fear that we'll be going down. Like some have said, we just have no momentum with us. Watching Newcastle, Worcester and Bristol play, they all seem to have at least some spark.

I was at the the Bristol game when the England players returned from the AIs...yep, same mentality and attitude as Friday night! Did they want to be out there?

£25K per England game, seems to be a bigger motivator than a premiership game.
