Devils advocate and no I'm not celebrating an injury,I never would but is "Tigers" Ben such a huge loss? England's Ben certainly would be.

IMO if the Tigers win this one they will stay up? Lose they will be 'game' for the remaining fixtures home or away. I really can't see the Tigers stopping the 'rollerball' of the Chiefs and even an LBP looks in jeopardy. Maybe MF has found a way and Les Cusworth will be proved right?
I certainly hope for points on Saturday but with the increasing injury list the replacements might be from the LRI.
I too hope the cloudy crystal ball is wrongly showing us needing to win at home to Bath and despite numerous unpenalised high tackles & offsides Referee? Matt Carley awards Bath a strongly disputed knockon try in the 84th minute. UGH! :smt013 :smt067
The choice of a first rate Referee for these home games is essential ~ remember Newcastle here last year.

Sadly our injury crisis will make the end of season extremely difficult to get the wins we need. If Holmes is also out then we really will struggle. Against Saints, a fit Thomo or Holmes would more than likely have meant scoring in the corner in the first half.
Exeter has an almost fully fit squad so it maybe this game is more about who will be fit for Newcastle and Bristol!
As always, there is hope, but my head says Exeter will have too much power and guile. I hope, and know, Tigers, if every player plays to their full potential, and for some reason Exeter aren’t on form, we might get a win.
It will be an interesting week end and I wouldn’t be surprised if Newcastle get a result at Sarries as the Falcons injury crisis is over and their confidence is now high.
Whatever, my wife and I will be supporting home and away next season.
Lastly, if we fans are quiet then this will do little to improve the players’ confidence.

On paper our starting XV is strong but as this season has proved rugby isn't played on paper.

Our bench looks very weak given the opposition.

REally sensible use of available resources. Back row matches Chiefs likely one with 2 big guys on the flanks and O’Connor against Kevesic at 8.
Good to see some thinking outside the box

Pretty average looking Chiefs line-up. We should easily take them apart :smt005

Come on you Tigers :smt038 :smt038 :smt038
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

Ouch, full strength apart from Sam Simmons and Jonny Hill. Maybe we should look at recruiting some of their doctors, it's amazing how they can play that endless multi-phase game and not stack up injuries.
