Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6
Who amongst the academy lot is likely to get a contract? Some likely ones based on reputation:
- Freddie Steward
- Joe Browning
- Ronnie Du Rant
- Sam Costelow
- Jonny Law
- James Whitcombe
- George Martin
- Sam Eveleigh
Any others? Rowntree and Hardwick definitely have names that fit.
I think most of these are graduating, but one or two may be in their first year?

Geordan: "...Greg Bateman injured, hopefully not too long term but I don't think he's going to feature a huge amount this season."
That's a bit of a blow. Not sure what the injury is....?

Whilst not ideal we have more than adequate resources at loosehead with Genge, Gigena and Ma'afu.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6
We need 3 enforcer locks to go with Spencer.
Front row overall good.
The rest apart from Denton Kala and Thompson are not up to the standard required , and is the main reason we are :censored:.
That and the abysmal coaching, Stanko excepted.

Thanks for all the work RB.
May be the time to move Manu back into the squad has arrived?

Valhalla I am coming!
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6
I'd settle for one lock that's better than all our current ones.
