Personally I would have Thompson as captain and Ford as vice. I have always believed that having a forward captaining the side, produces better performances.

A forward captain produces better performances for Tigers or as a general rule?Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 7:40 pm Personally I would have Thompson as captain and Ford as vice. I have always believed that having a forward captaining the side, produces better performances.

I think we won't see another popcorn day until after the end of our season maybe not until after the end of the season as a whole, so after the Premiership final. I'm thinking end of May.

I think we may well see more players announced this Monday, Probably another 3 out of Leatiagaga, Coghlan, Clare or Viljoen.
Suspect Lavanini is being saved for the end of the season

Most of those are already known. You’d assume the public domain known confirmed deals would be announced first, save the speculative ones for later.
Liebenberg confirmed his own move on social media.
Viljoen was semi confirmed in South African media a while ago.
Coughlan confirmed at the Nottingham awards dinner.
Leatigaga I’m sure was confirmed last summer as coming this summer, because Tigers couldn’t get Biarritz to release him.

I'm really hoping the actually release a list of those leaving this season.

One of my annoying things about the club, they seemed ashamed to announce someone as leaving and never release a complete list of departures. Especially after this season, I think it’s imperative that the club are more transparent with the club.

Interesting article.

Great player and could have been a Tigers legend if he had stayed. We’ve sorely missed him and that says so much.

Amen to that. I can imagine what he and Thompson in tandem might do! A MOC exited player?Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 10:48 am Interesting article.

So if neither happens we shall never know?
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

To be fair, most of the recent announcements were already known, or very highly speculated. The Tigers' set up is very good at not knowing, or reacting to what's going on in the world of information technology.FrontRowUnionMember wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 9:03 pm Most of those are already known. Interesting that before Lochy moved to Leicester Australian coaches were not interested in him, and after Tigers appointed an Aussie coach Lochy never got the chance to show that coach what he could do.
