Wasps and Quins
of the teams that have announced 5 players
Bath, Saints and Worcester
Saints announced 1 England sevens and 2 Nat 1 players in that 5.

People acting like we are miles behind others in terms of announcements. We are really not.
I had thought that Sale had made more external signings but most of those announced on 6th February are extensions to existing players contracts often 3 years to bind the team together. Perhaps I have missed some in the news.

Morozov counts as a signing for this season and Jean-Luc hasn’t been confirmed, but his brother Robert (flyhalf) has.

Shame he was never really given a shot here, looked like a sizeable unit, but oh well.

I presume that he didn't impress sufficiently in training or on loan. We've got several young locks on the way through and by the sounds of it four good ones for next season (if the rumours are true). He'd have needed to show he was capable of pushing for a start.

Coventry reporting he signed a new deal with them. Doesn’t mention if it remains a dual registration contract.

“An announcement can be used as a boost to the club, . . . “

Maybe to the fans, but not necessarily to the players!

Voss was never dual registered, we signed him and it was immediately arranged he be loaned out to Coventry. We used him to fulfill a couple of A league fixtures at the end of last season and in a couple of pre-season games, MOC was not a fan of his so there was no question of him joining us. That said when I have seen him play I have been impressed, hopefully he is not off the radar and we are still keeping an eye on him.

No question of him joining us? He was never dual registered? Why has he been listed in our senior squad all year then (and why does Coventry’s article say he was on a dual registration contract?).

Hmm Interesting. It would appear then that he does have dual registration. :smt017

I like many here are waiting to hear who they have signed for next season, me before I renew my season ticket, but perhaps they cannot because if they announce players, then are relegated (Which I think is likely) then no one comes, club looks bad, players look bad. So I think we will not know anything until the club know where they will be playing next season.

Luke Hamilton didn't last long at Edinburgh...I'd have him back...
