With regard to European competition a fair few SH players have very little knowledge of European rugby and therefore doubt that there would be a champions cup clause.
Playing in the championship however could be a different matter, though there is a parachute payment so financially shouldn’t be much difference

I doubt many of the players we have been linked too will have relegation clauses TBH.

Would we lose all of our international contingent? There is no way they would be picked for country just playing Championship rugby.

If it did happen, which I don’t think it will, I think we would loose Genge, Ford and May. The issue would be where they would go in the premiership, as clubs will have squads and budgets already sorted. The World Cup further muddies the waters

Some will no doubt go.
Polota-Nau, Ford, Youngs, Manu, Genge, May
Being the big ones.
Although could see us potentially loaning Manu out instead.
Denton has other worry's currently.
Holmes maybe.
Kerr doubt it.
Cole don't see him leaving after the RWC.
The Tongans will stay most likely, not like they won't get picked by Tonga.

Interesting - On BTS just now in the quins buildup and Gustard just said they wanted to wait as late as possible to announce any signings to avoid distraction from this season - and it was also the launch of the season ticket sales - which is why they announced 12 signings this week.
Anything right now would be a valuable distraction - and our season tickets are already on sale - so maybe Manu is it

I am not sure it is a given that Internationals would go.
If you look at what happened with Saints and Quins when they were relegated, many of their established internationals stayed - Hartley, Lawes, Wood etc. Robshaw, Marler Care....
Arguably, in some cases having a season out of the Prem and Europe may even have helped, as they were able to rotate and bring some younger players through.

Are we waiting to see if we relegated before the new signings are announced? Could we see some of them fall through if the worst comes to the worst?
I have a most uncomfortable feeling that things will get much worse before they better No one within the club seems to be capable of analysing the problems that are so apparent. It is just so very frustrating that nearly every game, we flounder like headless chickens. With just five games remaining, can any poster believe any differently.
I apologise for this seemingly negative post, but I cannot see anything to feel positive about, certainly after last night's debacle.

I stand corrected! My memory is deceiving me.
... even Nick Easter wasn't capped.

The B.O.D. should be burning the midnight oil, and come up with a plan. Do they not realize they are losing / have lost, the faith of the club's supporters?

Its been going on for 5 consecutive seasons but as the saying goes there is none as blind as those that refuse to see.Dangerous4 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 3:59 pm The B.O.D. should be burning the midnight oil, and come up with a plan. I think we could all do with a lift. If GM knows who are coming, internation and domestic signings then please tell us and hopefully cheer us up.
