Anyone suggest someone who will soon be available to be our new Head Coach?

Someone better at building a team than our current lot

Theresa May?

Yet we've looked so much more potent in attack with the introduction of White. He's added tempo and got in the ear of Barnes. Harrison always stands out when we play badly because he's so committed. Thought Harrison's passing looked rusty.

Given the dismal defence Edwards as DOR would be an excellent addition.

Parling or POC could add something coaching the forwards as well.

Same old rubbish, same result. This team needs disbanding and start again. Murphs needs to go. :smt009 :smt009

Thankfully there are worse teams in the premiership (I think).
Although it pains me to admit it, we could learn a lot from Saints in terms of how they have turned around their team from last year.

I'm honestly not sure there are. I'm convinced Newcastle will improve. I think it's a shootout between us and Worcs unless we bring in some proper coaches.
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Currently we are the worst team.
IF Sale win against Falcons we will still be 9 points from the bottom with 5 games, which isn't too bad.
BUT Sale lose and suddenly its a straight shoot out.

My thoughts exactly Big Dai, and I care not that this opinion may not be shared.
Just shows what a farce LFC has become!

Circumstances of Parling's departure make me think he wouldn't come back...highly unlikely. Happy to be proven wrong.

POC turned us down once I do believe (if there ever was a firm offer and not just rumour), I wouldn't ask him again... nose/face/spite maybe but nonetheless I wouldn't want him.

Bring in Edwards and let him choose his coaching team. If he does not want any of the incumbents then they should go.

Tigers v Saints

Post by milesanderson »

Wow , what a lacklustre performance against Saints. Geordan Murphy doesn't seem to inspire a brilliant side with any confidence at all. No line speed , no defense and an inability to run with determination onto the ball. George Ford must have been tearing his hair out! Absolutely essential we bring in a proper coach . We're a great team on paper, but Murphy seems to insire nothing but a defeatist attitude. He was never a great defender as a player if you remember. I think a return of RC who has coached Edinburgh brilliantly.

I'd go for RC ,though its doubtful he'd want to return. He's done a great job at Edinburgh and he's a fighter and inspires confidence. He's also got a great team behind him with Duncan Hodge and Callum Macrae.

We were in that game until Williams yellow card. Completely unnecessary and the kind of brain fart that has characterised his time with us. Once there was more room for them to go wide they tore us apart.

Notice Saints in attack. When someone makes a break the support players flooded through and we're there for an easy pass. When we made a break (and we did, mainly in the first 20) it was spot the support player. That was us through out, far to casual around the pitch and nowhere near the intensity we needed in any department.
