Poor article in my opinion, it says we’re still looking for a defence coach when we appointed Phil Blake months ago and it says our youth system has failed when it’s obvious the Academy are as strong as ever.

I agree. It is an exceptionally poorly written article. Defence coach? Academy? Hotel? We have a defence coach. The academy is stronger than it has been in the last four / five years. The Hotel and Car Park are sensible initiatives which will provide additional income streams to enable the club to be self-sustaining. All of that makes sense.

My only concern is the immediate slightly cavalier view (IMO) that we aren't in a serious relegation dog fight. Listing other clubs remaining fixtures. I don't see many points for us coming from Saints (h) Exeter (h), Newcastle (a), Bristol (h), Quins (a), Bath (h).

I doubt if we will get anything from Exeter or the Quins matches. I don't know if we have a team that really can fight - and Newcastle and Bristol will. It wouldn't surprise me if we get rolled over by those two. Bath have a much better balanced squad.

I don't want to think it - but I think we are absolutely right in the dog fight and once things start to fall away.............

Absolutely it could and if we don't get anything out of Saints and Chiefs I think it will I'm afraid.

Yup! Especially in at the moment when there's only two teams who could realistically win the league.

I tell you what though,if we did finish 12th I have this funny feeling that ringfencing would be speeded up! CVC wouldn't want a GP without us in it,I'm sure of that.

Start of the season I had us as ending in 6th place. I think that is still achievable when we get our internationals back and we don't suffer another spate of injuries.

Sadly inconsistency every game has cost us very dear this season. Poor use of our kicking strategy and line out ideas have been the two stand out problems.
