Awesome Sarries!
Just watched the Worcester v Sarries game. Sarries put out a mainly second/ third string and have absolutely smashed Worcester. Their youngsters show how things have to be done to keep on winning.
Tigers will need one hell of a performance next weekend to get at least a point.
Hope Cole, Genge, Kerr and Holmes are released to play. Keeping the faith.

Re: Awesome Sarries!
Worcester second team Vs a Sarries second team.
Both sides have a couple of names on show.
Sarries have a couple of gems in development, Max Mallins looks better each time I see him. I'd be surprised if he doesn't start demanding first team rugby soon. Could be a bidding war should he get frustrated in a season's time.

Kerr and Holmes will have to be released. As will Maitland and Williams for Sarries.
Genge missing out this weekend could play into Tigers hands as he will need game time. Hopefully Cole is released as well.
Youngs, TPN, Spencer and Denton are all meant to be touch and go as well.
1.Genge 2.Kerr 3.Cole 4.Wells 5.Kitchener 6.Williams 7.Evans 8.Kalamafoni
9.White 10.Toomua 11.Holmes 12.Eastmond 13.Owen 14.Sarto 15.Worth
16.TPN/Youngs 17.Bateman 18.Heyes 19.Fitzgerald 20.BOC/Denton 21.Harrison 22.Hardwick 23.Olowofela

Re: Awesome Sarries!
I'd give them more credit if their success wasn't tied so irrevocably to one extremely wealthy investment banker. Anybody who has visited the awfully dreary Allianz Park will attest that there are some things money can't buy
Re: Awesome Sarries!
They are a plastic club and cap cheats but worse than that, they employ Callum Clark.
A life long Tiger
Re: Awesome Sarries!
This is why I enjoy Tigers so much and keep supporting even through the difficult times. I remember a couple of seasons ago reading a piece by McCall bemoaning the fact that Sarries have small crowds and why do more people not support such a club; perhaps you can't buy want he wants!? Welford Road is a great atmosphere (usually) and it is times like now we need to keep it so. I think the good times will return.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 1:07 am I'd give them more credit if their success wasn't tied so irrevocably to one extremely wealthy investment banker. Re: Awesome Sarries!
Proves that if you bust the bank you can win trophies. Some might call this success.Buying trophies!!!!!!!
I'd rather have a big club that will be around for a considerable time, a prolonged success and be respected.
I don't like to relate to wndy ball - however Man U's ethos works. Had a shakey 3 seasons but are weathering the storm.
Some see the Tigers as Rugby's Man U and draw comparisons. If GM can do a "Baby face assassin" I'd be pleased.
Warps tried the Sarries way and rather than busting the Bank...........
Barff are doing similar and Bristol will follow.
I'd rather be a Tiger and know I'll have a club to support. FAIRLY.

Sarries game is in a 6 Nations rest weekend though so Holmes will be released back to Tigers for it.jgriffin wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 10:32 amHolmes starts for Wales according To BBCABClub wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 9:54 pm Kerr and Holmes will have to be released. Sarries will have Maitland and Williams as well for the same reason...
Re: Awesome Sarries!
Depending on how much game time he gets tomorrow I wouldn’t discount Ford having a run out either at Saracens

Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
