The Leicester Forest pitch is 4G and every player that I have spoken to love playing on it. Incidentally Leicestershire County are advocating playing their age group matches there, next U16 one is scheduled for Sun 24 th. Feb. I'm sure the team would welcome some support!

Just a bug bear of mine but a 3G rugby pitch isn’t 4G.

4th Generation surfaces don’t exist yet in the artificial grass industry, a World Rugby compliant pitch is a 3G surface laid ontop of a shockpad that combined meet the requirements of World Rugby Reg. 22

Either way, rugby should be played on grass. The 3G, 4G or whateverG, can be kept away from the game.
