Think that it will have more of the experienced players in as their will be a three week break till the next game v Sarries.

Possibly but then Geordan said he will select consistently as he has done this competition and that players who haven’t played much rugby will be played.

Post match yesterday Geordan stated that they view this as a development competiton and will base selection on the policy they have used in previous rounds particularly in giving those who lack game time a run out.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

Me,I would play as close as possible to the team that's gonna be running out v Sarries.

Jordan can put who he likes out, just so long as we win. I don't think I could bare losing at home to Saints.

As I recall Hardwick, Thacker and Simmonds are injured. If they aren't then I'd play all three.

Premiership Rugby’s record tryscorer Tom Varndell and Italy international wing Leonardo Sarto both start for Leicester Tigers in Saturday’s Premiership Rugby Cup tie against Northampton Saints. Sarto, joins Varndell and Jordan Olowofela in the back three and Sam Aspland-Robinson starts for the first time in a Tigers shirt.
Coach Brett Deacon includes England Under-20s caps Joe Heyes and Sam Lewis, and Wales Under-20s captain Tommy Reffell in the forward pack in a team captained by Harry Wells.
Academy prospects Taylor Gough, Jonny Law and Freddie Steward are among the replacements alongside loan signing Curtis Wilson (Doncaster Knights).

Re: The Derby Round v Northampton - Premiership Rugby Cup
Looks like a tough ask against a strong Saints line up.
Hopefully it will prove to be a good learning experience for some of the youngsters and an opportunity for the likes of Aspland-Robinson to show their worth.
