Slightly off topic and did not deserve a thread of its own but just come across this peach

"Exeter’s BD accuracy is probably the best in England but Garces letting POM and his merry men cheat with impunity on the floor has made an uphill task even harder"

Oh how I laughed!

Ulster Rugby:

15 Louis Ludik, 14 Robert Baloucoune, 13 Will Addison, 12 Stuart McCloskey, 11 Jacob Stockdale, 10 Billy Burns, 9 David Shanahan; 1 Eric O'Sullivan, 2 Rory Best (c), 3 Marty Moore, 4 Iain Henderson, 5 Kieran Treadwell, 6 Sean Reidy, 7 Jordi Murphy, 8 Marcell Coetzee

Replacements: 16 Rob Herring, 17 Andy Warwick, 18 Ross Kane, 19 Alan O'Connor, 20 Nick Timoney, 21 John Cooney, 22 Michael Lowry, 23 Darren Cave

Henderson in the only change from last week. Gulp.
Gulp +1 :smt023 The Tiger back row 5 need to be on the money for this one. Stockdale and Burns need to be shutdown for any idea of a Tigers win.

Ben Youngs, Jonny May, Manu Tuilagi, George Ford and Dan Cole all return to the starting line-up after missing the defeat to the Scarlets last weekend.

Geordan is not messing around. He clearly wants to Welford Road back as it should be... a :censored: hard place to come to.
+1

Well done GM....
Inspired....... and if there is a directive from RFU/EJ about protecting selected players - well - even more well done GM..

This has nothing to do with Leicester v England! Ulster are still in the competition as are others who can win their group or qualify in second. This is just the spirit of the game,if this was v Scarlets this week I guarantee you it wouldn't be our gun team.

Evening all. 4 Leinster supporters coming to Welford Road tomorrow before we go to the Ricoh on Sunday. Quick question - where will be the best place to watch the Munster Exeter game after the match. Can we see it at the ground or do we have to find a local pub (one that shows rugby rather than soccer). All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Very pleasing to see we have the strongest possible side out, (not what I expected. ) We will need a very good performance from the back five. If we turn up tomorrow, we can win, but anything short of our best, and it will be an Ulster win.

It will be on at the ground and that is probably your best bet.

Will they have it on even with the Tigers Academy playing after our game?

Grumpy Old Man - enjoy your weekend in the East Midlands! Closest pub to the stadium is The Bricklayers Arms on Welford Rd. 5 mins walk from ground, lots of TVs and Guinness on tap.

Likely to be busy with rugby supporters but you’ll get a good welcome.

Just a small comment. Fielding a stronger team today is no surprise.

It was the same last year... all of the loyal fans we went to Castres in Rnd 5 had to suck up a weakened team and a chastening loss. Then in the Rnd 6 home dead rubber O’Connor put out the best team. Same this year for Scarlets and Ulster.

Again the away fans get a raw deal but we clearly must keep all the home fans happy with a strong side!

I vaguely understand the approach today but this is a meaningless game, same as last week. We get 1/2 of our key players injured today and the policy will look a bit silly won’t it? We have one priority for me: the league. Top 4 is the primary aim, Top 6 is the minimum requirement. Winning by 1 today or losing by 30 doesn’t change anything in the Pool for us.

There might even be a good argument to play the team most likely to feature in our next league game... it certainly won’t look much like today’s side!

On the other, other hand...
dead rubber so GM uses it as a strong practice session - let's not care about the result? If we win great, if not then we still learn a lot.
