For those of a certain age (mine for example!) this would sit right. But I can see the logic of actually making it a proper experience/package and charging money to cover the costs or make it worthwhile doing.

That said I think replica kit for kids is stupid anyway. They grow so quick it becomes an expensive business. Bah humbug!

Just been confirmed that Tigers do not charge for mascots and they recieve a free kit as part of it. One mascot is selected on the day in the Juniors Tiger Club, drawn from those that put their names in. The other mascot is selected in advance of the match being a competition winner or deserving of the place through charity etc.
A very nice touch from Tigers!

Leicester City have lots of packages for mascots, player escorts and giant shirt wavers, the price you saw is the highest the lowest if free but that doesn’t get reported, also unreported is Leicester put all the money raised in what is now the Vichai foundation.

If some idiot is going to pay that for their kid to hold the hand of a player for 20 seconds more fool them
