If all you can do to score a try is run in a straight line with no defenders to beat then the only way that will continue to happen is if you have serious gas. Insufficient gas = no tries.

Thought Mapalangi played really well , Varndell took his chances and looked fit, freddie Steward played well when he came on as did George Martin . Pack was bullied a bit - good game though . Best bit was standing behind the dugout listening to Boris - a very entertaining man !
I’ve always been a massive fan of Mapapalangi but I find that he needs to variate his ballcarrying technique a lot more and his tackling needs significant improvement but I do believe Tigers will reap the rewards in time if they hold onto him.

Mapapalangi can be in the Nakawara style lock if Tigers develop him in that position. Definitely has potential if he’s willing to put the time in. Very raw at the moment and is prone to lapses in concentration.
