Re Ezcurra - I didn't even know he was here, did he actually play any games?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Not any first team matches. He was here as back up when Youngs was on international duty and Simmons was injured and Harrison recovering from injury.

He was named in the matchday squad for one PRC game but was never used.

Isn't there an Argentine gent waiting in the wings?
I'm not sure but I think I recall reading on here that he had returned to Argentina.

Tom Youngs, Telusa Veainu, Mathew Tait, Matt Smith, Will Spencer, Guy Thompson, David Denton and Will Spencer all remain on the sidelines according to Smurf. Adam Thompstone has been struggling with a knee problem and needs to see a specialist to diagnose the problem and will not figure before that is done.

What has happened to Bateman and Harrison! Our injury list worsens as Gloucester’s and other clubs start to get players back.
Hope Denton does get back but it has been a long lay off!
Hardwick also out so it will be whoever is fit plays.
Gloucester is a huge game as, unlike last year I cannot see a win during the 6 Nations unless injuries and form improves. Hope I am proved wrong.

That's must be a first in the premiership; 2 second rows called Will Spencer playing for the same team. 😊

I’ll be really out there and suggest a back three of:

11. Varndell
14. May
15. Holmes

I know it’ll not happen this week, but for a pacy back 3 they’re hard to beat. :smt002
