EQP 7's
Curry
Curry
Underhill
Simmonds
J.Willis
Are all ahead of him.
Ahead in bosh but in terms of being a Smith/Hooper type 7 not so in my opinion.
Hooper isn't even a smith type 7 IMO
Tom Curry has the most turnovers per game in the league
Smith and Hooper are similar in terms of linking speed and ball skills than the majority of English 7's who are very defensive such is the attritional nature of development and the league in general in my opinion.
Evans hasn't really had much opportunity to show his potential full repertoire as yet.
Also I think you may be mixing the older Smith we see in the bosh Premiership with the one playing international rugby at his peak with Australia.

Good news re Reffell, keep the Welsh noses off his scent.
In his first year with the Wales under 20s he was made captain despite only being 18. He's now captaining them for the second consecutive season. I think the Welshies know all about him.
Hopefully we've tried him down for a good few years. There's no point him rushing home with all the opensides Wales have kicking about. When arguably the best openside in the Prem is struggling to get a look in and the regions are doing about as well as Tigers in Europe he might as well stay.
As official as it can be without an official announcement.
i.e. a post on facebook....
Whose Facebook post?
Was just taking a guess.
I imagine it is true, Egerton wouldn't have tweeted about Hardwick it if it wasn't given to him by the club directly, and Reffell is logical if Evans is off.

Just listened to the RL podcast of yesterdays game and Hardwick said that he'd re-signed as the club was going places with Murphy in charge
Excellent! Let's hope others feel this way too.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
