Jimmy Gopperth

Post by norfolkexpat »

Am I in the minority who is of the opinion that signing Jimmy Gopperth would be a superb addition for our backs ? Interested to hear of the Forums thoughts as Wasps are clearing out a lot of quality...

He’s old and has suffered badly with injuries in the last two seasons, it’s a no from me.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni

He would be a great replacement for Toomua, but is he available?

By the start of next season he'll be 36 and has been injured all season so far. Don't see the value in it personally, unless he is practically free and on a one year deal whilst Hardwick continues his development.

If he came with a time machine (and we didn’t have George F and Matt T) he’d be a brilliant signing :smt002

36? No thanks then unless he's fully fit and it's for a season only

I believe the question is in relation to next season when we won't have Toomua and Ford will be at the RWC and 6N.
