I would like to move on and get someone dynamic who can contribute much more, as Gustard might do for Quins, alas - although that might be unfair on Blake - BUT his catenaccio defence turned us into the most defensively formidable team in the Prem. Its a round-ball term, often used simply to mean a heavy emphasis on defence, originally developed in Italy where they suffered years of 1-0 results as a result. More specifically means deployment of a sweeper (libero), whose only role is to act as the 'door bolt', keeping control by shutting out the opposition. Not sure it has a specific meaning in our game.
