Yes and no.
I would like to move on and get someone dynamic who can contribute much more, as Gustard might do for Quins, alas - although that might be unfair on Blake - BUT his catenaccio defence turned us into the most defensively formidable team in the Prem. If he can at least work that one again, then he will have paid his way.
Equally it might be a fix for the rest of the season......and then.......
Catenaccio (Italian bolt). Could you explain, for a prop? 😁😁😁
Lightning quick?

Alternatively...

Its a round-ball term, often used simply to mean a heavy emphasis on defence, originally developed in Italy where they suffered years of 1-0 results as a result. More specifically means deployment of a sweeper (libero), whose only role is to act as the 'door bolt', keeping control by shutting out the opposition. Not sure it has a specific meaning in our game.

George Graham's boring boring Arsenal?
Although that wasn't really a sweeper system but could be linked to a defensive line

I've only heard the word in association with guns. Italian bolt action?

Thought it described the 'chain' that Blake fashioned very well.
