Re: Patching the boat!!
An interesting look into Geordan's mindset. He's clearly unhappy with the mess he's been left and is working hard to get a functional team out at the weekend. Even less happy when individual poor decisions make a mess he has to answer for.
Re: Patching the boat!!
Worrying comments by Geordan. Surely this is a very good time to have 2 games in Europe. As I said in another post, Racing is an opportunity to get things sorted before the next round of Premiership games.
No one expects anything from these two games so it is surely not a chance to merely “patch things up” but fix them. The pre season friendliest were wasted so let’s not waste the next two games. Any points from these will be a bonus but with the right attitude both are winnable- what a confidence boost it would be.
Target an unbeaten home run from now until the end of the season and target a minimum 1 point from all away games.
Time for the whole club to deliver.

That's code for "we're going to get hammered a lot in the next few weeks but just remember it's not my fault."
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Re: Patching the boat!!
I would suggest that likening Tigers to an old boat that needs patching-up is part of the problem!

Re: Patching the boat!!
I just feel so sorry for Geordon. None of the mess is his fault. He was "thrown to the wolves" by the board, and he clearly sees massive issues at the club, just like the rest of us.
Re: Patching the boat!!
It's just an off the cuff statement. People are reading too much into it.
Re: Patching the boat!!
We had this nonsense three months ago from Tom. Let's face it poor old Murphs is bereft of ideas and going down with the boat.

Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
