Harry gets three

Post by Smudge »

Just watched the Wasps Bristol game which was really entertaining. Most of the pub were cheering for Bristol (we didn't know the result). Lots of interest and comments when Thacker came off the bench in the second half. and to our delight, scored three good tries.

Not seen the game. He has always been an explosive player though. That try Vs Saints will live long in the memory. Great to hear he's flourishing.

He's been injured for a fair amount this season, but he's been good when he has played.

The battle to avoid relegation is going to be very interesting.

TBF two of those tries just involved flopping over.

Agreed but if Thacker had scored four tries then Bristol could have won! :smt002
Is this his lack of stamina, lack of height or lack of gametime? I hope he does not start against us!

With Gibson, Balmain and Lewington having scored against us in the last three Premiership games, it would be nice to not have an old boy come back and bag a try for a fourth game running.

Quins next. Charlie Walker came out of the Tigers' Academy, but he's not likely to play, so this run should stop next week at least.

I simply cannot understand how we allowed Harry Wells to leave. He was knocking on the door for a regular first team slot. He will go on the be great player methinks. Another massive mistake by the board.

Crazy decision at this point in the season, leaves us short on locks with no chance to replace. :smt002

Yes, happy for the lad. Real shame he was too small for the Tigers squad :smt013

I'm not sure he was. He was just too insistent on playing hooker. He'd have suited us better if he moved to openside but kept throwing in at the lineout.

He went to Bedford. Thankfully he came back.
