It’s half time on Friday. 22-6. Positive thinking or self delusion?

Am afraid Worth is far too slow for this standard
The rest of the backs on display, apart from Eastmond are so far down the Premiership line, its embarrassing.
What on earth has happened to the Tigers legacy ????
Horrible days for long standing supporters.

That’s the problem in being an optimist!

The fourth choice 15 who is a utility back and probably better suited at centre is too slow? That's far from the biggest problem. At least he was solid in the air.

The backs were struggling because we have a rookie 9 who likes to take his time over the pass and a flyhalf that refuses to to tie in opposition defenders leaving man and ball tackles when he passes. The rookie 9 can be sortes but Hardwick has to start next week.

I like Simmonds more than White as 9, who I suspect is something of a production-line model.

Unfortunately Simmons has a serious injury and won't be back soon. White has plenty of potential and if he learns to up the tempo of his play he'll be a real asset. Simmons is just a natural, you could play him anywhere in the backline and he'd do a job, bit of an Austin Healey type.

Some better news. Guy Thompson has posted a photo on Instagram of the nasty cut he suffered against Gloucester. However he wrote: "Nothing serious, just a bit of a cut. Will be back in no time..." Glad to see it's not a long term injury.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

hope we won’t have Greg McDonald as a ref anytime soon, was clueless in the Bears vs Chiefs game, both sides got away with murder. Nonexistent penalty try at the end too.

So Tigers now find themselves in the bottom half of the Premiership, which is hardly surprising.
The optimists may feel they have a chance of making the end of season play-offs, but in my opinion, their only realistic objective will be a top 6 place and European Champions' Cup rugby next season.
Of the four Premiership fixtures before the end of the year, there are three at home (Sarries Nov 25th, Bristol Dec 1st and Quins Dec 22nd) and Bath away on Dec 29th. So how many wins do you think they'll get?
For me, Sarries - unlikely, against Bristol and Quins - with the international players returning they must be targetting wins, Bath - unlikely. So maybe two wins from four, and they begin the new year with Gloucester at home on Jan 5th!
Wishful thinking rather than positive is probably more suitable.

Six points between 7th and 3rd, 2 points between 7th and 4th.......top 2 are marching on so difficult to see any change to those positions......3rd and 4th is there to play for. Gloucester played well on Friday and if they can maintain that form will secure a top four finish.. There are no easy games in the Premiership as we are seeing.....did not expect anything from Friday with a set of backs who were playing together for the first time......I have not written off this season and hope that the return of international and injured players comes in time to provide a drive up the table....

Well, that's just poor planning. Should have gone with the backline against Sale, too much chopping and changing at the moment.
