Good teams, hoping we give Worcester a right old whallopping.

:smt017 Have you forgotten we lost to them at home, with a stronger team than this one?

No, the Worcester team was about the same and I did say “hop[e]”.

People get really shot down for optimism on this forum.

I'm not shooting you down, just questioning your optimism? Yes Worcs are about same strength, but Tigers are weaker and the effort and pace Worcs put into the first match does not look to me like we can give them a "whalloping". :smt001

Worcester don't seem to be considering the " Development " element of this competition. I do hope their !st team players don't run out of steam as the season goes on and they don't need rested players to avoid relegation. Of course it may be that they are resting [layers by giving up on Europe which seems a shame.

Performance of team & individuals far more important than the result.
Chance for some players to really put their hand up.
Hopefully Hardwick @10 is a pointer for Glaws game.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Agree with Wayne - some individuals can really promote themselves . it will be a big test for the young Front row but if they can cope against Schonert and Co that is a good sign for the future . Am pleased that hardwick is getting his chance at 10 .

Hardwick has looked very good, when he's had some ball. Schonert doesn't want to scrummage and is pulling Gigena down at every scrum but Sir, who has been pretty awful all round, seems to be seeing something very different to the rest of us. Also, not sure why we needed the additional scrum after the not straight lineout when the clock had expired.

This is, I'm afraid, a walk in the park for Worcester's first string. They've attacked space, identified opportunities and taken them when they've had 2 on 1, 3 on 2 etc. We've lived off scraps. Hope for better second half
