So I would guess you’re looking at a starting team and bench of

Hepburn, Hartley, Sinckler, Itoje, Kruis, Shields, Curry, Mercer, Youngs , Ford , May, Farrell, Slade, Ashton, Daley.

Moon, George, Williams, Ewels, Wilson, Care, Tuilagi, Nowell

I get that Mercer is a good player and I know that South Africa will be missing European-based players but surely you need the experience (and the bulk) of Ben Morgan vs the Boks.

Mercer more explosive maybe, some strange selections in the pack especially though injuries to the likes of the Vunipola boys Lawes and Launchbury have had some say

For me Mercer deserves his chance. Good set of wheels and likes to mix it up

Pleased to see Brad Shields in there. He's really earned his place in the side after making a full 3 appearances for Wasps this season.
