Hartley has been good for England since his return under EJ. His discipline has never been an issue for England.
His throwing is second to none. In the loose he is not in George's class.
It's horses for courses and hopefully Eddie has backed the right horse to start this race....!!

England do always seem to play better with Hartley at the helm. Yes he isn’t amazing ball in hand, but makes his tackles. But mainly he makes sure England have a solid set piece, normally hits his jumpers and scrum is solid.

Is Eddie Jones a bit slow on the uptake, When George was pulling up trees he did not pick him as a starter, now Hartley is playing better than George, he picks him :smt017, Or is my logic wrong and the "Finisher" is more important than the "Starter"?

What's the betting his replacement will win MOTM? Could be a good silly bet, might risk £1 !!

Adam Ashley-Cooper and Kurtley Beale have been stood down for this weekend’s game at Twickenham after breaching team protocol.

News emerged overnight that they’d been disciplined for a breach of team protocol, by inviting women back to their hotel after the Test in Cardiff.

But...but...they're Australian??? It's what they do! (At least it's not ball tampering!)

Au contraire, Mon ami. Sounds like some ball tampering was at least intended :smt003

That’s not funny.
It's a bit of banter. Why can't people have a laugh anymore and have to find everything and anything offensive?!

I hate this politically correct world.

Are you Australian by any chance?

JP14 wrote: Thu Nov 22, 2018 6:29 pm Does anyone else think Jamie George has been well, average, this Autumn and in fact I can’t recall a good England performance from him in the starting No2 Jersey.

I think he’s overrated and is not good enough in the tight at international, probably if he played for the All Blacks that would be better for him because they like to ship the ball wide to the hookers.
He's not as overrated as Hartley is!
You honestly think Hartley hasn't been excellent for England since he was made captain?
Seems like facts have no effect on your opinion then :smt017

no I’m English, I just didn’t think it was funny, nothing to do with political correctness at all.
