Re: Saints v Tigers
Poor Referee, one touch judge who was a shockingly bad ref & as for the TMO....
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: Saints v Tigers
EJ likely sees Olowefela as a Joseph type 13, a position he played for England
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

At least we get a trip to Twickenham again this year even it isn’t in late May when I’d rather be there.

Re: Saints v Tigers
Yes and in May the weather is usually better - forecast heavy rain in Twickers all afternoon on Saturday.
Not sure who that will favour, but it is not good for the "spectacle".
However after two defeats to Saints last season, the only spectacle I'm interested in is the right numbers on the scoreboard!!!!

Tigers are on a hiding to nothing this game...the emotion in the Saints camp will be at fever pitch for poor old Rob Horne
I really hate wet weather rugby...completely ruins the game (unless playing it as sliding around in the mud is great fun)

Re: Saints v Tigers
Yes because Twickenham doesn't have an excellent pitch with much grass on it does it? It's going to end up being a brown pitch with no grass on it by the end if the match!JackFlashJonny wrote: ↑Thu Oct 04, 2018 3:53 pm Tigers are on a hiding to nothing this game...the emotion in the Saints camp will be at fever pitch for poor old Rob Horne

Bench looks really weak so looks like that forward pack will be flogged again. Needs must I guess.

Re: Saints v Tigers
Interesting to see Holmes at FB . Hope he does well.
Disappointed still no BOC, we really miss him.
As Ourla says, it's a weak bench but not much choice with the injuries and Toomua/TPN missing.
I have no idea how we will play tomorrow, could be an easy win, bad loss or a very close tussle. Just impossible to tell given our current form and the same can be said for Saints. Just hope we really turn up and fight for everything!!
