Yeh, considering Mapapalangi hasn't even been in the A team, I suspect he might have some kind of injury. He is training but that doesn't mean match ready I guess.

Re: Tigers v Warriors
Veainu and Thompstone both took knocks last weekend so even if fit again, Wuss are probably the team to choose to rest them against looking at upcoming fixtures. Potentially the same with Hardwick; GM probably anticipated giving him a couple of 15-20 minute run outs but he played over 50 against Falcons, so maybe just a week off to let his body recuperate.ourla wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 12:13 pm Prsumably we don't know if Thompstone and Veainu are carrying knocks or just rested. Regardless it's good to see Olowofela ad Holmes getting a start. I thought Kitchener was playing well second half of last season so hopefully he can do a decent job. A repeat of last weeks performance should be good enough but obviously conceding less points whilst maintaining that attacking threat is what we want to see.
I agree about Kitch. Let's hope he hits the ground running.

Great news, in all seriousness though the pitches at Hinckley are like concrete at the moment we need the rain!

And very strong gusts of wind. How is Jordan under the high ball in a swirling wind when wet and under pressure? We’re about to find out...
Re: Tigers v Warriors
OK in the wet at Cardiff fielding a couple of high balls.

Re: Tigers v Warriors
Warriors will be a different prospect with Hougaard at the helm he has the same effect on them that De Klerk has on the Sharks
As people have Mentioned Veianu’s Falcon will have hurt the next day so have a week off Olowefela is a prodigious talent and will be fine even in high winds and rain.
Thompstone picked up an injury from a Bassett late hit just after half time as the crowd were baying for blood, but again we have a more than able deputy in Holmes

Re: Tigers v Warriors
Well it will be a good chance for Olofowa to show what he is made of . If Hardwick is injured I can understand why he has been left out but if not , I struggle to see why Joe Ford is named on the bench . The lineout is so poor at the moment that even a half fit Kitch should improve things .
Re: Tigers v Warriors
Imo we lost that match when Williams went off, he ran the lineout like clockwork in the lead up to Kalamafoni’s try. The memory of him losing the ball in the air against Bath last season is disappearing.

It's no better in the North of the county. My bad knee has been suffering on the hard ground need some rain so the pitches will have some give.
The weather conditions might suit us. The main Worcester threat is their wingers, we should have a pack capable of doing a number on them up front. I'd be more than happy for an old school forward dominated win.
