Wish:
1. Baxter
2. Cockerill

Realistic:
Murphy. I hope he does an excellent job and gets the job permanently.
Cockerill the man who stayed 3 seasons too long which is one of the reasons for the current mess
Prefer him over Lancaster and certainly over ROG! :smt023
Read his interviews around June 2017, two years of wanting better players and getting dross. Familiar?
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Although he's continually ruled himself out I would sit on Martin Johnson's doorstep and continually call his mobile until he surrendered and signed a contract.
I agree. Would really like to see Johno back in some capacity, he has been out of the game for too long, left badly scarred by the England experience, he is too good a man not to return at some point - so why not now?!

Otherwise wish list Wayne Smith.
Apparently Johnno isn't a big fan of modern rugby so he won't be an option.

MJ from what I gather has no intention to return to rugby in any coaching capacity. He enjoys his punditry and is also now a big fan of NFL. Although would love him to come back as a motivational speaker, he’ll say what needs saying in the changing rooms and set the standards.

For me realistically I’d like to see Rowntree come in. He’s available and would be a good DoR having had experience with England and Lions. Let Murphy be the attacks coach, Stankovich scrum coach and Deacon defence coach.

Milton Haig. A risk but I really think he could do a great job, get the pack sorted with a few Georgian players, but he has a huge amount of experience from all over the globe.

Robbie Deans as DoR; Gibbo as Head Coach; Wiggie as Forwards; Catt as Backs; Brett As Defense Coach; Louis as Lineout Coach.

Edit: whoever comes in, should be allowed to pick his own staff. No more face fits; it doesn't work.

If Murphy is staying as head coach I'd like to see an experienced DOR come in to help guide him and the other young coaches. The introduction of Lancaster to help guide Leo Cullen has been a great move. An injection of outside ideas and experience.

How about Andy Farrell?
Proved to be a good defense coach. As he is not a head coach I think he would be attainable.

I honestly can’t think of any DOR or head coach who would want to grasp this poisoned chalice. I am quite traditional, hence my love of my Tigers Goldstar top, but let’s get a new broom. ROG would be a shout. I think we should look outside the club. Murphy is a good safe pair of hands, who one would believe has the respect of the players. But I think we need a new vision for the style of play. As a bath mate of mine said “exteter are the new tigers”. We either go back to that (no drama with that) or be more expansive. I have no clue who to get, but the team playing with a smile, pride, a bit of give a feacal matter, and aggression and I am sold.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

Of course we've continually heard Johnson won't go back into coaching and maybe it's true. Says he "doesn't feel it". Can't believe it myself. Someone who loves sport as much as he does. I'd certainly keep asking!

We need to get this decision right this time, Deans could be a shout but he hasn't coached in a top league for a long time, Milton Haig will probably want to stay with Georgia till next season, I can't see Lancaster or Farrell leaving their current positions either.

If we are feeling brave and want to take a risk I'd love to see what Ben Ryan could do at a prem club but I just can't see his face fitting with those making the decisions.

The most likely thing is Murphy (or Mike Ford as a caretaker) getting the season and bringing in somebody post WC
